Damascus Project Recovery Home

In May of 2012, Billy and Sammy Rogers generously donated nine acres of land within the Dyersburg city limits to the Damascus project, which will be used for future projects.

The Damascus Recovery Center, located two blocks from Dyersburg Square at 333 South Mill Avenue, is currently entering the final stage of construction. The facility, located upstairs above the Heaven Cent Thrift store, provides lots of light and space to create an ideal setting for a change. The Recovery Center will be a 24-hour, professionally staffed residential recovery program offering sanctuary to men seeking a new road in life. We expect to be welcoming the first men into the program in 2023.

Heaven Cent Thrift Store

Heaven Cent, located on the first floor of the location, is one of the largest thrift stores in Dyersburg. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., and Saturdays, 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., and they have a crew for donation pick up’s. Heaven Cent, a significant Damascus Recovery Center fundraising arm, is great for volunteering or donating your no-longer-needed possessions.
